HyperDirect, LLC is a very small company. I am the only company, and I don’t have many employees. I also work a full-time job as I can not afford to live off of HyperDirect alone. With that said, I believe that some potential clients may be scared to work with me as they may fear I won’t have time to put in the effort.
Just because it’s a small company does not mean that I can not support my clients and complete projects. I’ve worked in various positions where time management is an essential part of my job. These time management positions have made me relatively skilled in knowing how much of a workload I can handle. My current full-time employer is also well aware of my business and flexible with my hours. This means if I feel that I need some extra time to get a job done for one of my clients, I can likely shift my full-time hours to keep everyone happy.
I also have been working in this trade for nearly a decade. I’ve created some great connections with other designers and developers. If I find myself in a position where I have too much work, I can always reach out and hire an independent contractor. I’m also not afraid of hiring employees, part-time or full-time, provided I have enough work to warrant it.
I’d say that at the current position the company is in, I could handle one large website development project and a handful of site maintenance jobs. Other services that I offer are also not the most time-consuming, and I could take on a handful of additional things like Social Media Management and Ad Management on top of the web services.
Another thing to note is that when you go with a small company like this, the person you talk to is the owner. There will be no “Oh, I have to check with my manager before I approve that.” I’m the one that approves everything, and you’ll have my personal cell number. This allows a much easier way to contact me and typically results in a much better support system. Though I work a full-time job, I currently don’t have many clients. This means the earlier you start working with me, the more time I have to devote to your and your online web needs.
To sum it all up, if your job is to find a company to handle your online presence, I will make sure I can fit it into the schedule. You shouldn’t have to worry about my schedule, just yours. However, if I ever fall behind on a project, I am a very open person and will let you know as soon as I’m aware of it. If you want to contact me about a web project you have, please contact me here. I appreciate you reading my posts, and I hope to see you again tomorrow for my next post!
